Terms & Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of www.orahealingarts.com and the resources and services offered through it.
Effective date: Oct 11, 2026
1. About the Practice
ORA offers non-clinical education, intuitive guidance, reflection, and expressive arts experiences informed by African ancestral wisdom and a decolonized worldview.
Services and materials are intended to support personal exploration. They do not provide diagnosis, psychotherapy, medical treatment, or crisis intervention, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified medical or mental health professional.
Participating in ORA does not establish a therapist–client or medical provider–patient relationship.
2. Participation and Personal Choice
ORA’s services are intended for adults aged 18 and older.
Participation is voluntary. You may ask questions, decline a practice, choose what to share, or pause your participation. You are encouraged to communicate your boundaries and any accessibility needs relevant to the experience.
Reflective and expressive practices may bring up uncomfortable feelings or memories. Please engage at a pace appropriate to your circumstances and seek additional professional support when needed.
No particular belief system is required. Spiritual teachings and practices are offered for exploration, and you retain authority over your beliefs and decisions.
3. No Guaranteed Outcomes
Experiences and outcomes vary. ORA does not guarantee healing, symptom relief, spiritual experiences, or any particular personal transformation.
Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not promise that others will have the same results.
4. Bookings, Payments, and Cancellations
Prices, payment requirements, included services, and any applicable taxes will be disclosed before you complete a booking or purchase.
Cancellation, rescheduling, refund, and program-access terms will be provided with the relevant offering or client agreement. Please review them before paying.
Submitting an inquiry does not confirm a booking or create an obligation to purchase.
A separate client or purchase agreement may contain additional terms. Where those terms conflict with these general website terms, the specific agreement governs that service or purchase, subject to applicable law.
5. Respectful Conduct and Group Participation
Participants are expected to treat others with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threats, and disruptive conduct are not permitted.
In group experiences, do not disclose another participant’s identity, personal stories, or creative work without their permission. Recording, photographing, or taking screenshots of sessions requires prior permission from ORA and the people involved.
Although participants are asked to respect privacy, ORA cannot guarantee the conduct or confidentiality of other participants.
ORA may pause or end participation when conduct compromises the group or the delivery of services. Any payment consequences will follow the applicable agreement and law.
6. Intellectual Property
Original ORA materials, including written content, exercises, programs, artwork, and downloads, belong to ORA or their respective rights holders.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, resources are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, distribute, resell, publish, or use them to deliver your own paid services without written permission.
You retain ownership of your own creative work. Sharing it during a session does not give ORA permission to publish it. Separate permission will be requested before using identifiable client artwork, stories, or testimonials publicly.
7. Website Use and External Resources
You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or submit unlawful content.
Links to books, research, and external websites are provided for exploration. Their inclusion does not mean ORA endorses every claim they contain. Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
We make reasonable efforts to keep website information accurate, but cannot guarantee that all content will always be complete, current, or available.
8. Responsibility and Legal Rights
You remain responsible for your personal decisions and how you use information obtained through ORA.
To the extent permitted by law, ORA is not responsible for losses caused by website interruptions, third-party services, or uses of its materials outside their intended purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
9. Applicable Law and Changes
These terms are governed by Virginia law, subject to any mandatory protections that apply where you live.
We may update these terms and will identify the revised effective date on this page. Changes will not retroactively alter an existing paid agreement without a lawful basis or your agreement where required.
